Creative ArtReach, a program facilitated by Starbound Theatre, offers high quality after school enrichment from local providers with a focus on Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), STEAM (including robotics), Fitness and Academic Tutoring. 

OUR VISION FOR EDUCATION
We believe every youth should have access to quality, locally-staffed after-school enrichment. We’ve crafted a vibrant, innovative creative-driven education program taught and facilitated by a talented group of credentialed teachers, Teaching Artists, Artists in Residence, Coaches and staff.  Our goal is to create an environment where students thrive and prepare for future success.

Starbound is a well-established Solano County-based business who recently moved into a new rehearsal studio in Downtown Vacaville. We are invested in our community and our programs have served thousands of families over our 20 year history. 

EXPERIENCED ENRICHMENT PROVIDER
Partnering with local school districts and city recreation departments to provide Arts Education and Enrichment has been Starbound’s model from day one. Starbound has worked with various schools, school districts and Parks and Recreation departments in Solano and Napa counties providing enrichment activities in theater, music, dance, visual arts, language arts, culinary arts, and media arts. Clients include Vacaville Unified School District, Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club, City of Vacaville, and Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. These programs have served thousands of young students and produced quality local, live Children’s Theatre for and by the community.

LOCALLY-POWERED
We can only provide high quality, diverse enrichment options with “a little help from our friends”. Starbound instructors will offer drama, dance and musical theatre productions with instructors from Joyful Art Studio offering Visual Art and STEAM (including Robotics) Additionally, we’re contracting with School of Rock to offer music classes and Air Blair Athletics to provide structured health and fitness. Academic support will be led by a credentialed teacher / skilled professional.

It has been our mission to provide access to all regardless of financial ability. David Rodgers, Jr, owner of Starbound, is a foster child and understands the needs of at-risk youth. Creative ArtReach direct enrollment pricing includes a sibling discount and a sliding scale for tuition costs, so that more families have access to quality care.
